The staff members of OeIJ are highly skilled in quantitative methods (development of online questionnaires, face-to-face questionnaires, data collection in schools, etc.) as well as qualitative methods for data collection (interviews, focus groups, participant observation, etc.). Which methods are used for analysis (quantitative descriptive analysis, quantitative comparative country analyses, uni-/multivariate analyses, grounded theory, qualitative content analysis, objective hermeneutics, etc.) in each case will depend on the research question and the objective of the study. When designing a research project for a sponsor the individual wishes of the clients are taken into account.
